The Event: Feel Well - Work Well

Join us for this event with the theme of 'Feel Well - Work Well'. We will be joined by Rebekah Cuncliffe, Director Flex Pilates & Physiotherapy BabyBeats, to talk about the importance of activity and feeling strong both before and after pregnancy and how we can create working environments which support women's health throughout their motherhood journey.

In the journey of motherhood, the significance of feeling physically and mentally strong cannot be overstated. From the moments of conception through pregnancy, into the postpartum period, and beyond, maintaining strength in both body and mind is crucial for the well-being of both mother and child. This session delves into the profound impact that physical and mental strength wields during these transformative stages.

Come along and confidently take part in a small amount of movement to get us set for a chat and discussion on how Beki aims to help women, and women can help each other, during their Natal Journey’s to be physically and mentally bossing life.

Don't miss out on this chance to network in a safe space with like-minded mums, share experiences, and build a supportive community. Come and be inspired by the stories of resilience, determination, and success from other mums in leadership.

The Speaker : Rebekah Cunliffe MCSP, HCPC

Beki qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2008, with always knowing that she wanted to help others, Physiotherapy came into her careers session in secondary school due to her love of sport- mainly hockey.

After qualifying in 2008 she completed her well cherished time in the NHS on many rotations through lots of different specialities. In 2014 she suffered an ectopic pregnancy requiring major surgical intervention and happily two years later Eric, her now 7 year old son came along by C-section. These hard but poignant times in her life led her to being passionate about Women’s health. Not only physically but holistically.

Beki took on a business for both mum and baby in 2017 - BabyBeats which focussed on babies development, nurturing bonds and also helping many mothers regain strength and confidence in their own bodies following pregnancy and birth.

Alongside her NHS work and BabyBeats, Beki also taught as a Pilates instructor at Flex Pilates and Physiotherapy from 2018. With her passion in rehabilitation, prevention and enhancing performance she continues to develop and learn more within Physiotherapy.

2023 sees Beki become a Co-Director of Flex Pilates and Physiotherapy, continuing to grow the business and develop further her business partner, Jo, created as she now sets off at the crack of dawn now driving HGV’s.

With over 15 years of experience, Beki has now specialised in certain areas of rehabilitation, which includes Women’s Health and Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy. Beki also delivers specialist Women’s Health Physiotherapy.
